My work moves with the seasons and the road. Each collection grows out of time spent in a specific landscape – the high deserts and mountain valleys of the West, the tidal creeks and working harbors of the Low Country, and the ancient worlds that exist only in imagination and oil paint.

Every painting is an original oil, built up in layers with brush and palette knife. I am drawn to the point where recognizable detail gives way to a more immediate impression of a place or moment. These collections are how I organize that pursuit.

Western Collection

The American West is where I first learned to read landscape as emotion. This collection spans the red rock canyons of the Southwest, the ranchlands of the Mountain West, and the national parks that preserve what remains untamed. Horses, cowboys, and sweeping vistas painted with the heavy texture and saturated color that only palette knife work can deliver.

Salt Marsh Collection

A limited, numbered series devoted to the working waterways of the coastal Southeast. Shrimp boats at dawn, cordgrass stretching to a pewter sky, oyster beds at low tide. These are not postcard seascapes – they are paintings of labor, resilience, and a landscape that is disappearing faster than most people realize. Heavy impasto. Restrained, honest color.

Dinosaur Series

Prehistoric giants reimagined as living, breathing forces of nature – and sometimes as participants in the modern world. These original oil paintings fuse scientific grounding with the wonder of childhood fascination. From thundering T-Rex portraits to the quiet grazing of sauropods in misty valleys, this is paleo art for collectors who want something unexpected.
